Our mission

There is always far too much legal work to do by hand, and that is stressful and disheartening. We believe the people who practice law in the public sector should have tools that make case management efficient and intuitive, so they can spend their time on the work only they can do.

Our history

1. 1984Cycom Data Systems, Inc. is founded. Its CityLaw and CountyLaw case management systems go on to serve city and county law departments for more than 40 years.
2. 1989LegalEdge Software is founded in Philadelphia. LegalEdge grows into web-based case management for prosecutors, public defenders and government legal offices.
3. 1994Judicial Dialog Systems launches, providing case management software for prosecutors.
4. 2024 to 2025The three companies come together. Today they operate as JDSLE, Inc., headquartered inMiami, Florida.
5. TodayWe build and support LegalEdge, including LEA, the LegalEdge AI assistant, andCLNG, the next generation of CityLaw and CountyLaw, rebuilt from the ground up on current technology.
